Catherine "Kate" Ada Kelly is a slim, beautiful young woman from north-eastern rural Victoria, Australia. She stands 5'2 tall, has a quiet voice with a hint of an Irish lilt, and dark hazel eyes that say far, far more than her mouth ever does. People say she's a prettier version of her brother.

The year is 1883. Kate performs in a Wild West style show in various Australian cities, playing up to the infamous reputation she has as Ned Kelly's baby sister to make money. She has trouble sleeping, drinks too much, and lately, has been thinking about disappearing...
